Case Study: Turf Refurbishment of Latrobe Golf Course

In the spring of 2022, Latrobe Golf Course was significantly damaged after a flood. The damaged fairways were line planted with Santa Ana couchgrass, following the earlier reconstruction of the short course holes, which had also been turfed with Santa Ana. . GW Soil Solutions was called in to help with the refurbishment process.

To restore the turf, GW Soil Solutions used NEM biological products Amigo and Agrisilica. Amigo is a bio-fertilizer that contains beneficial microorganisms that help to improve soil health and plant growth. Agrisilica is a sustainable soil additive that improves soil structure, water holding capacity, and nutrient availability.
